Two CLEARnotes programmes shortlisted for prestigious HSJ Partnership Awards
Two CLEARnotes programmes in the NHS have been shortlisted in the national HSJ Partnership Awards 2026.
The deployment at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust has been shortlisted in the Best Elective Care Recovery Initiative category, while the pilot at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT) has been recognised in the Best Contribution to Improving the Efficiency of NHS Services category.
This recognition highlights the impact of CLEARnotes’ close collaboration with NHS partners, supporting elective care recovery and improving efficiency through safe, scalable ambient documentation.
At ELHT, the six-month pilot, launched in September 2024, has delivered a 14 percent increase in clinician productivity. CLEARnotes has reduced administrative workload, allowing clinicians to spend more time with patients and improving staff wellbeing.
At Wolverhampton, the AVT tool has delivered a 25 percent increase in productivity in one clinic, reduced clinic letter turnaround from 5 to 7 days to just 1 to 2 days, and significantly reduced administrative workload for clinicians while maintaining clinical safety.
Dr John Jeans, NHS Consultant Anaesthetist and CEO, 33n (founding organisation of CLEARnotes), said:
“The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust have shown real leadership in how ambient voice technology can be adopted safely and responsibly in the NHS. By putting governance, clinical safety and usability first, and working in true partnership with CLEARnotes, the team has delivered measurable improvements in productivity while setting a benchmark for scalable, clinician-led AI adoption.”
The HSJ Partnership Awards celebrate innovation and outstanding collaboration between suppliers and the NHS. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 19th March 2025 at Evolution London.
