CLEARnotes has been developed by 33n – an NHS clinician-led organisation dedicated to improving workforce efficiency, service delivery and patient outcomes.
The organisation’s unique blend of clinician expertise, data analytics and AI-powered tools enables healthcare providers to optimise services, address workforce challenges, and drive sustainable transformation.
With a proven track record in healthcare innovation, 33n leads the nationally sponsored CLEAR programme (Clinically- Led workforcE and Activity Redesign) and has delivered 75 transformation projects spanning NHS priority areas since 2019.

Dr Shruti Dholakia
Chief Product Officer
Co-founder of 33n and the national CLEAR programme, Shruti is the Chief Product Officer at 33n. She has a keen interest in the utilisation of data and
technology in healthcare transformation. Shruti leads the product direction of cutting-edge solutions that enhance healthcare delivery and efficiency. She is experienced in managing high performing teams and has over 10 years experience of complex healthcare transformation, utilising data in the NHS. Shruti is also a
practicing anaesthetist in the NHS with a keen interest in Paediatric Intensive Care.

Dr Ken Ting
Head of Clinical Informatics
Ken is a consultant anaesthetist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and Clinical Informatics Lead of the National CLEAR Programme delivered by 33n. He
has led the CLEAR urgent and emergency care, ICU and elective recovery transformation programmes and now leads the national development and deployment of CLEARnotes – an AI ambient recording, transcription and summarisation productivity tool. He has a deep interest in using data and technology to drive discussions and decisions and to maximise the value of our time whilst improving the way we care for patients.

Danny Wood
Head of Compliance and Contracting
Over seven years’ experience setting up and maintaining 33n’s information governance, data protection, and information security framework with
oversight of data protection and
information governance risk and policy.
Responsible for 33n’s compliance with UK GDPR and ensuring, with the Head of Infrastructure and Security, data sharing and processing is performed in a secure manner that maintains the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data.

Jagdip Grewal
Chief Technology Officer
Lead technology team and brings 30 years of experience in technology and 20+ years in healthcare. Chief Architect for NHS when they spent £12bn deploying local systems (EPRs, PACS, GP/Pharmacy upgrades) and building national data services (aka NHS Spine) connecting 20,000+ systems. Has spent the last 10 years in front line health care, supporting digital transformation including using data and AI to create new data driven patient journeys. He holds an Executive MBA from London Business School and an MA in Computer Science from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge University.

Pauline Crosthwaite
Tech Development Manager
Oversees the planning and delivery of new tech solutions as well as continuous improvement and maintenance work.
Background working in data and analytics in financial services, managing data impacts and requirements driven by technology, regulatory, organisational, marketing and product changes.

Peter Vandenberk
Senior Architect
I work with the wider tech team on uplifting our architecture to the next level (primarily around testability and extensibility, e.g. running multiple LLM pipelines in parallel and comparing performance/quality metrics) and on better leveraging our cloud infrastructure to accelerate our product development and
innovation.

Kavin Abelak
Head of Infrastructure and Security
Co-founder of 33n with a PhD in
Computational Biology and extensive experience of bioinformatics and working
in NHS Trusts. Setup the analytics
pipeline at 33n and currently leading the Infrastructure Team. Additional responsibilities around Security and Data Protection.

James Wood
Business Innovation and Improvement Manager
Involved in capacity of product owner. Background in data visualisation and development of capacity and demand workforce modelling, impact calculators,
continuous improvement of processes and analytics, and integration of AI technology.
Experience as product owner of web based workforce modelling tool used in delivery of our consultancy work.

Lisa Newbull
Senior Clinical Consultant
Lisa brings over 18 years of clinical experience as an Operating Department Practitioner, with a strong interest in healthcare transformation, workforce optimisation, and service redesign. She has delivered CLEAR projects across urgent and emergency care, women’s health, and operating theatres, using data-driven approaches to improve outcomes for patients and staff. Lisa is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified and has led large-scale improvement and emergency preparedness initiatives within the NHS. She is passionate about developing sustainable, clinically informed change through innovative workforce and service planning.

Sarah Ali
Managing Consultant: Product and Data Lead
Sarah is a practising physiotherapist and Course Lead for Physiotherapy at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. She combines clinical expertise with academic leadership to support the development of future healthcare professionals. Sarah is delivering transformation projects across urgent care, mental health, and stroke services. A Registered Clinical Safety Officer, she is passionate about advancing digital clinical safety and ensuring technology enhances care while maintaining high standards of patient safety.

Emma Richardson
Product Marketing and Digital Executive
Emma is the Product Marketing and Digital Executive for CLEARnotes, where she leads on digital strategy and brand communications. With a background in marketing and a passion for healthcare innovation, she supports the promotion and adoption of digital solutions that drive transformation across the NHS. Emma focuses on delivering clear, impactful messaging to clinicians and stakeholders, ensuring the value of data-driven tools like CLEARnotes is effectively communicated and understood.
